In a recently published statistics report, we looked at the number of students taking each GCSE in 2015 and the percentage of these students who went on to take an A Level in the same subject.

Since 2015, the number of girls taking A-level sciences has continued to increase yearly across the UK. This year just over half (50.3%) of science A-level entries came from female candidates, compared with 46.9% last year.
