The three-day conference hosted by Cambridge University Press provides an opportunity for educators from around the world to come together and share experiences of the challenges they face in and out of the classroom. Alessandra Jastes, a delegate at the 2017 Better Learning Conference, described it as ‘a blend of learning, new friendships, different experiences and, above all, inspiration and motivation to the ones who chose Education/Teaching.’ You can read Alessandra’s story of her experiences on the Cambridge University Press website.
This year’s conference programme includes keynote speeches from Education Explorer, Lucy Crehan, and Education Technologist, Paul Driver. Tim Oates CBE, Group Director of Assessment Research and Development, Cambridge Assessment will be giving the Tuesday keynote on ‘Assessing collaborative skills: OECD's interest in widening ideas of student performance’ where he will consider the role which education has in building collaborative skills in learners, with reference to the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) 2015 findings.
