The forum event is organised by Evidence Based Education, creators of Assessment Academy, and the Chartered College of Teaching, in partnership with Cambridge Assessment, the Teacher Development Trust, Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring at Durham University, Tarporley School and Ark.
The panel, chaired by Stuart Kime of Evidence Based Education, will discuss the barriers to achieving great assessment and suggestions as to how educators can make assessment work for them and their students.
Panel members include:
- Daisy Christodoulou, Head of Assesment at Ark Schools
- Professor Robert Coe, Director of the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring, Durham University
- Sarah Lee, Headteacher, Tarporley High School
- Tim Oates, Group Director of Assessment Research and Development, Cambridge Assessment
- Dame Alison Peacock, Chief Executive, Chartered College of Teaching
- David Weston, Chief Executive, Teacher Development Trust
Each panel member will answer three questions from their perspective, for example:
- What makes great assessment?
- What are the current and foreseeable assessment challenges and uncertainties facing educators?
- What action can the profession take to address these challenges?
All general release tickets have been taken but 10 places have been reserved exclusively for affiliates of the Cambridge Assessment Network on a first-come, first-served basis.
