With new Government targets to increase education exports to £30bn by 2020, this seminar will examine key issues for growing the international market for UK education abroad.
Delegates at the seminar will discuss further opportunities for the school sector's expansion overseas, including supporting schools to open up 'campuses' abroad and reducing barriers such as the pricing of school places and difficulties in establishing a school’s name abroad. They will also consider how to better support awarding bodies and qualification providers to establish UK qualifications overseas, including the costs and quality of marketing.
The agenda also focuses on the latest thinking around promoting UK schools as a destination choice, as well as helping schools to attract increased numbers of international students.
The seminar will bring together parliamentarians and senior officials with key stakeholders including school and college leaders, education consultants, language qualification providers, lawyers, and representatives from international schools, awarding bodies, education technology providers, businesses, trade associations and academics.
