This Westminster Education Forum will examine Ofsted’s new Education Inspection Framework, which will change the way Ofsted inspects educational establishments from September 2019. The proposed approach will focus on how schools are achieving results, rather than the results themselves, in order to judge whether institutions are offering a broad and rich curriculum.
Tim Oates, Group Director of Assessment Research and Development, Cambridge Assessment, will join a session covering the position of the curriculum within the new framework and how new inspection judgements of ‘quality of education’ and ‘leadership and management’ will be implemented.
Delegates will also discuss the possible effect on teachers and students of new inspection judgements on ‘personal development’ and ‘behaviour and attitudes’.
