Confirmed speakers for the Cambridge Assessment Conference have just been announced.
International Education: Interpretation, Importance and Impact will hear from a range of expert speakers including education entrepreneurs, head teachers, academics and company directors. They will debate the role education should play in preparing young people for work and life an increasingly connected and constantly changing world.
Speakers include Isabel Nisbet, former Regional Director of Education, South East Asia, for Cambridge International Examinations, who has just been appointed the Executive Director of the newly formed A Level Content Advisory Board. Joining Isabel will be Jeremy Hodgen, Professor of Mathematics Education at King’s College London, and the education entrepreneur Sunny Varkey, whose ambition and campaigning efforts have been widely recognised. Other speakers include Gisella Langè, Foreign Languages Inspector at the Italian Ministry of Education, and David Graddol, Director, The English Company (UK) Limited. Senior teachers will also be speaking, including Dr Stephen Spurr, former Head Master at Westminster School.
