Cambridge Assessment has been chosen as one of five regional winners of the 2019 British Council for Offices award for corporate workplaces.
The organisation’s new Triangle building was declared the winner in the Midlands and Central England region at a ceremony earlier this year, and the award (displayed by Group CEO Saul Nassé, right) has now taken pride of place on display at the Triangle building itself.
The award provides public recognition of the building’s top quality design, functionality and benchmark excellence as a workplace.
Judges noted how the office has been a catalyst for creating a new brand, culture, and significant business growth.
A key factor in Cambridge Assessment’s success is its focus on employee wellness, as evidenced by changing, shower and cycling provisions, and an in-house Wellbeing Centre.
The judges agreed that the workplace supported employee’s mental health through its intelligent use of uplifting artwork, daylight, natural ventilation and views of the city.
Triangle will now be considered for the national awards, to be announced in October.
