When you complete an award you’ll gain a certificate and a digital badge to share your achievement to your online profile. We offer two levels of award, to be eligible you first need to become a member of the Cambridge Assessment Network.
The Assessment Practitioner Award
Awarded for: Completion of 60 hours of learning on Cambridge Assessment Network training courses
This award demonstrates:
- A commitment to your understanding and application of assessment principles
- You have developed your assessment expertise across more than one assessment topic theme
- You have engaged with the professional learning cycle underpinning our professional learning courses
The Advanced Assessment Practitioner Award
Awarded for: Achieving a pass mark for a 3000-word assignment focusing on the development of an assessment ‘innovation’
This award has been successfully benchmarked by Ecctis and has been found to be comparable to Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)Level 6.

This award demonstrates:
- A long-term commitment to your understanding and application of assessment principles
- You have developed your assessment expertise across more than one assessment topic theme
- You have embodied the professional framework and standards; and demonstrated how the process has contributed to innovations in your practice
- Reflected on your own role as an assessment expert within your working life and in your institution
- You have contributed to your own assessment community in an in-depth and impactful way
For this award you must first achieve the Assessment Practitioner Award (60 learning hours) and then submit a short, written application.
