"I began teaching English as a foreign language in Thailand, Italy and Cambridge, before moving into state school teaching where I taught KS3, GCSE and A Level students. I became a Head of Sixth Form in 2014 where I oversaw post-16 curriculum and examinations.

After a stint of 12 years in the classroom, I decided I needed something new and was lucky enough to get a job at Cambridge Assessment International Education where I was responsible for managing a suite of assessments. It was here that I learnt about the philosophical, ethical, practical and historical principles of assessment.

I completed my Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Educational Studies: Educational Assessment at Cambridge in 2020 and it has continued to enhance and improve my working practices in the assessment field.

Last year I was approached by RM Education who were looking to innovate their digital products in the formative assessment space, and have been working for them since September 2021. I am able to draw on my knowledge and experience in the assessment/education field, but I am also fulfilling personal interests by learning more about digital space in business settings."
